Spencer Lofranco, a talented Canadian actor famous for his portrayal alongside John Travolta in the 2018 movie Gotti, has tragically died at the age of 33. His brother, Santino Lofranco, announced the news via Instagram on November 20, revealing that Spencer passed away on November 18.

In his heartfelt message, Santino wrote: “To the legend @roccowinning. My brother. You lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people’s lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you, Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 – November 18, 2025.” The post was accompanied by various photos of Spencer from his childhood and more recent times.

The Toronto native appeared in seven films from 2013 to 2018, with notable credits including Angelina Jolie’s 2014 war film Unbroken and Gotti, where he played the son of John Travolta’s character in the biopic about the notorious New York mobster. His other projects included At Middleton (2013), Jamesy Boy (2014), Dixieland (2015), Home (2015), and King Cobra (2016).

Authorities confirm that Spencer’s death is currently under investigation in British Columbia, Canada.

In a 2014 interview, Spencer shared his journey to acting, revealing that he made this choice at 17, despite his father’s aspirations for him to pursue hockey or law. He attended the New York Film Academy for a year before launching his acting career and expressed his excitement about working with Angelina Jolie in Unbroken, stating, “Growing up, Angelina Jolie was my dream girl. Now I’m going to shoot a movie with her. It’s crazy.”

The untimely passing of Spencer Lofranco marks a profound loss in the entertainment industry, as he leaves behind a legacy that resonates in the hearts of many.
