Coco Jones, Puth and Carlile Announced as 2026 Super Bowl Performers

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The NFL has announced the main performers for the 2026 Super Bowl. Coco Jones, Charlie Puth and Brandi Carlile will take the stage before the big game. They will join Bad Bunny, who is performing at the halftime show. Super Bowl LX will take place on February 8, 2026.

Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which is often called the Black national anthem. Brandi Carlile will sing “America the Beautiful.” These songs will be performed before the two top NFL teams start the game.

Desiree Perez, the CEO of Roc Nation, said that Charlie, Brandi and Coco are “generational talents.” She said the NFL is honored to have them on the world stage. She also explained that the show represents the best of American culture, live music and national pride.

The NFL has also added American Sign Language (ASL) performers to all major parts of the event. Fred Beam will sign both “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Julian Ortiz will sign “America the Beautiful.”
For the first time ever, the halftime show will include multilingual signing. Celimar Rivera Cosme will use Puerto Rican Sign Language during Bad Bunny’s performance.

Charlie Puth shared a fun video on social media to celebrate the news. In the clip, he joked about how challenging it is to sing the national anthem. He explained the difficulty to a group of football players using game-day phrases. At the end of the video, the players start chanting, “Whose house? Our house!” by accident, making the video even more entertaining.

The 2026 Super Bowl is expected to have one of the most diverse and exciting pregame performances ever. With powerful singers, ASL interpreters and a special halftime show from Bad Bunny, fans are excited for a memorable event.
