The Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve was presented as a leading example of how conservation efforts can coexist with responsible tourism development.
Officials Call for Stronger Partnerships

Ecotourism Growth Requires Responsible Practices
Speakers highlighted that the growing popularity of ecotourism in Oman creates new opportunities for economic development but also increases the need for environmental responsibility. Experts stressed that tourism operators, visitors and authorities must work together to ensure that natural habitats remain protected while allowing people to enjoy the reserve’s unique attractions.

Experts agreed that public participation remains a key factor in safeguarding Oman’s natural heritage.
