Tere Ishk Mein Surpasses ₹150 Crore at Global Box Office

Post by : Meena Hassan

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein, featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is becoming a remarkable hit at the box office. Since its release on November 28, this romantic drama has demonstrated impressive durability, even in its second week, despite stiff competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar.

Colour Yellow Movies, the company behind the film, recently disclosed that Tere Ishk Mein has now earned ₹152.01 crore globally. In India, the film has exceeded ₹100 crore, racking up a net of ₹107.5 crore. On its 14th day, an additional ₹35 lakh was collected, while a peak single-day revenue of ₹19 crore was achieved on its inaugural Sunday.

Despite Dhurandhar achieving a staggering global total of ₹270 crore, Tere Ishk Mein remains competitive, bolstered by positive reviews and compelling performances from Dhanush and Kriti.

The narrative centers on the enduring romance between Shankar (played by Dhanush) and Mukti (Kriti Sanon), who initially connect at Delhi University. Following a breakup characterized by humiliation over Shankar's humble origins, he shifts focus to preparing for the UPSC exams. Their paths serendipitously intertwine years later, forming the crux of this poignant tale. Supporting actors include Prakash Raj, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Vineet Kumar Singh, adding depth to the narrative.
