Dhurandhar to Be Ranveer Singh's Lengthiest Film Yet

Post by : Meena Hassan

Upcoming movie Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is gearing up to be Ranveer Singh’s longest film to date. Sources indicate that the runtime is currently around three hours and five minutes, with the exact length to be confirmed in the coming days following discussions between Jio Studios, B62 Studios, and the director.

The film showcases an expansive narrative focusing on Ranveer Singh’s character as he navigates various challenges, strategies, and personal stakes within the story. It features an ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, all delivering impactful performances that add layers to the plot. Director Aditya Dhar has assured that each scene is designed for consistent engagement, ensuring that the storytelling remains compelling despite the film’s lengthy runtime.

Dhurandhar is inspired by real events and is set against the backdrop of cross-border intelligence activities, merging elements of drama, action, and suspense. The film aims to provide authentic portrayals of high-stakes missions and the intense dynamics involved in covert operations. Ranveer Singh’s performance is projected to be a striking showcase of both narrative intensity and character complexity throughout the film.

Originally, the film's trailer was set to release on November 15, but it was postponed following the tragic incident at Delhi's Red Fort on November 10, out of respect for the victims. Eager fans are looking forward to sneak peeks of a film that promises high-octane action blended with rich storytelling and cinematic depth.

Now scheduled for theatrical release on December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar is anticipated as a significant cinematic milestone, potentially establishing a new standard in Ranveer Singh’s illustrious career. With its ambitious runtime, impressive cast, and a storyline inspired by true events, the film is likely to create considerable excitement among both audiences and critics, making it one of the year's highly anticipated releases.
