Dhurandhar Achieves ₹600 Crore Milestone Worldwide, Ranveer Singh Shines

Post by : Meena Hassan

Dhurandhar continues its remarkable run at the box office. The high-energy thriller featuring Ranveer Singh consistently exceeds expectations, delivering impressive figures nearly every day. After an outstanding second weekend, the film experienced a notable spike on its second Monday, earning more than it did on its first Monday—a rarity in Indian cinema.

In the domestic arena, Dhurandhar grossed over ₹140 crore net during its second weekend, establishing a new high for Hindi films. On Monday, it witnessed only a 50% decline, adding ₹29 crore to its tally. Consequently, the film's total in India now reaches ₹379.75 crore net (₹455.50 crore gross), positioning it as the eighth highest-grossing Bollywood film in India, following giants like Dangal and Animal.

The international reception has been equally impressive. The film has amassed $16 million outside India, with over half of this amount accrued in the past four days. This surge has propelled Dhurandhar beyond the ₹600 crore mark globally, achieving a total worldwide gross of ₹600.75 crore.

With this success, Dhurandhar becomes the third Indian film in 2025 to surpass ₹600 crore globally, outpacing notable releases such as Padmaavat (₹585 crore), Sanju (₹592 crore), and YRF’s romantic blockbuster Saiyaara.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian spy embedded in Pakistan’s Lyari gangs. The film has garnered praise for its stellar performances from Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Fans are eagerly anticipating the sequel, slated for a March 12, 2026 release, promising a thrilling conclusion to this engaging spy saga.
