The Qatari Cabinet has strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting the State of Qatar, other Gulf nations, and Jordan, calling for their immediate cessation in line with international law and the principles of peaceful coexistence.
According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Cabinet reiterated its firm stance during a meeting held today, emphasizing the importance of respecting the United Nations Charter and maintaining good neighbourly relations to prevent further escalation in the region.
The Cabinet highlighted that Qatar continues to engage in intensive diplomatic efforts in close coordination with regional and international partners. These efforts are aimed at finding a peaceful resolution to the ongoing tensions while ensuring the protection of national sovereignty and the preservation of regional stability.
Officials further stressed that de-escalation is critical to safeguarding civilians and preventing broader risks that could impact the security and economic well-being of the region. Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the primary means to resolve conflicts and avoid further repercussions.
