In an impressive display at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Sports Games “Riyadh 2025,” Saudi Arabia’s Donia Abu Taleb earned a gold medal in taekwondo. Her victory in the under-51 kg category propelled the nation to sixth place in the overall medal standings with a total of 29 medals, comprising seven gold, three silver, and 19 bronze.

Abu Taleb faced a formidable opponent in Turkey’s Elif Akgül during the final but secured victory with a score of 2–0.
