A fire broke out on Friday night in a residential building in Dubai Marina, but the Dubai Civil Defence teams worked quickly to put it out. The fire was under control in just six hours.
As firefighters fought the blaze, other emergency teams focused on evacuating people from the 67-story building. By 1:30am, the fire was slowing down, and nearby residents saw the fire being brought under control.
In a post at 1:44am, the Dubai Media Office confirmed that all residents had been safely evacuated, and the firefighting teams were still working to fully contain the fire.
Later, at 2:09am, the Dubai Media Office mentioned that medical teams were at the scene to assist the evacuated residents with any health or mental support they needed.
At 2:21am, the Dubai Media Office shared that a total of 3,820 residents from 764 apartments had been evacuated safely, and there were no reports of injuries.
By 2:34am, Civil Defence teams continued working to fully put out the fire after ensuring everyone was safe. More updates will be shared as the situation develops.
