Dubai is preparing to welcome the fourth Arab Actuarial Conference, scheduled from February 4 to 6, 2026, at the Millenium Plaza Downtown Hotel. This conference, co-hosted by the UAE Insurance Federation, the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), and MenaMoney, is expected to gather key players in insurance, finance, and risk assessment from across the region.
The event will draw actuaries, investment and insurance professionals, healthcare regulators, and senior government officials, providing a platform for discussion on a wide range of financial risks, both traditional and innovative. Delegates are anticipated from financial and health ministries, central banks, insurance firms, actuarial consultancies, universities, and professional organizations throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Under the motto “The World from an Actuarial Eye”, this year’s focus will be on leveraging AI and data analytics to transform the insurance and finance landscapes. Critical discussions will revolve around trends in health insurance across Arab nations, risk-based capital approaches, actuarial involvement in banking, the influence of Generative AI on actuarial practices, pension sustainability, catastrophe modeling, and the role of digital assets in insurance.
This conference aims to encourage cooperation, share insights, and deliver innovative solutions to enhance financial preparedness and resilience within communities. Attendees will delve into the shifting responsibilities of actuaries in the face of rapid technological advancements and new financial landscapes, gaining valuable perspectives on the adaptation to AI, machine learning, and data-centric strategies.
With Dubai as the host for this important event, the fourth Arab Actuarial Conference is set to strengthen professional ties, highlight cutting-edge innovations, and offer actionable insights for policymakers throughout the MENA region.
