The Dubai T100 Festival wrapped up today, culminating in an exhilarating final day as numerous amateur triathletes crossed the renowned finish line at Meydan Racecourse. This four-day celebration united athletes from diverse backgrounds and age groups, fostering a vibrant and motivational environment for both competitors and fans alike. With ideal weather conditions and an enthusiastic audience, the last day became a grand tribute to resilience, bravery, and community spirit.
Over 8,000 amateur athletes participated in an array of events, featuring youth aquathlons for newcomers as well as the headline 100km triathlon challenge demanding robust fitness and resolve. The Event Village buzzed with more than 20,000 spectators, family, and sports enthusiasts who came to support the competitors. Set against Dubai’s stunning skyline, the festival created unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
The amateur race mirrored the same 100km course undertaken by their professional counterparts, comprising a 2km swim, an 80km cycle, followed by an 18km run. For numerous athletes, this event was a significant achievement, as they finished on the same line used by elite triathletes. Running toward the finish line with the Burj Khalifa visible in the background provided a deeply emotional experience for many.
In the men’s division, Quentin Amaral from France excelled, finishing first with a time of 3 hours, 26 minutes, and 20 seconds, exhibiting remarkable speed and consistency throughout the race. Hungary's David Andor closely followed, securing second place with a time of 3:34:51, while Dutch competitor Bryan Van Rutten rounded out the top three with a time of 3:36:09.
The women’s competition was equally fierce. Nika Rimaj from Croatia clinched victory with an impressive time of 3 hours, 54 minutes, and 52 seconds, thanks to her strong swim and disciplined cycling. Antonia Faustova from Russia took the second spot with a time of 4:01:11, and Lora Zulicek Dumancic also from Croatia finished third at 4:05:17, showcasing a commendable performance in all segments.
The T100 Festival revealed the true essence of triathlon as all amateur competitors embodied the spirit of the sport, proving that world-class races are accessible to anyone willing to challenge themselves. Many had spent months preparing for this event, making their triumphs even more rewarding. Families and friends celebrated each achievement, contributing to a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
This festival also highlighted the dynamic and active sports culture burgeoning in Dubai, as thousands of amateurs embraced demanding challenges. The meticulously organized support stations and dedicated volunteers ensured a seamless experience, enhancing overall enjoyment for all participants.

Regardless of being seasoned racers or first-timers, every athlete felt joy, determination, and fulfillment from completing a world-class course.
