Ajman Arabian Horse Auction Reports Complete Sell-Out

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Ajman Arabian Horse Auction, organized by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), marked a significant milestone by selling every horse available, culminating in total earnings of AED6,468,000. This event underscored the rising interest in Arabian horses and attracted participation from both local owners and breeders on a global scale.

Taking place at Ajman Stud in Al Bahia, the auction welcomed numerous bidders, including buyers from the UAE and enthusiasts from the GCC and beyond. The use of the EAHS mobile application enabled remote bidding, ensuring that those unable to attend in person could still take part in the auction.

Seventy-four bidders engaged in the auction, with 51 successfully acquiring horses. Notably, 40 of the buyers were international, with 35 completing their transactions. In contrast, 34 local participants took part, with 16 securing their desired horses. This cross-border interest highlights the global allure of Arabian horses as prized equine investments.

A diverse selection of horses was featured, showcasing their lineage, health status, and training capabilities. Each horse underwent a comprehensive presentation, allowing prospective buyers to evaluate their attributes before making bids. The well-structured event ensured a fair and transparent process, instilling confidence among both local and foreign buyers.

To facilitate a seamless buying experience, the Emirates Arabian Horse Society provided buyers with immediate issuance of horse passports upon sale completion. Rapid ownership transfers were arranged, with passports set to be delivered via approved postal services. This swift system allows buyers to promptly assume full ownership of their new horses.

The successful auction signifies the resilience of the Arabian horse market in the UAE and internationally. Experts emphasize that well-bred horses are increasingly sought after due to their distinctive traits, elegance, and cultural importance in the region. Furthermore, the event positions Ajman and the UAE as prominent centers for horse breeding and equestrian sports.

Organizers shared their delight over the auction's outcome, noting the efficient coordination, strong turnout, and global reach. They emphasized that the event bolsters the equine industry both financially and by enhancing the global reputation of Arabian horses.

The Ajman Arabian Horse Auction illustrates the surging enthusiasm for high-caliber horses and showcases the commitment of breeders, alongside the professional efforts of EAHS in bridging sellers and buyers. With every horse sold and total sales surpassing AED6.46 million, the auction sets a positive precedent for upcoming events in the area, promoting continued development in Arabian horse trading and breeding.
