Emirates has signed a new interline agreement with Loong Air, expanding its presence in China and offering passengers access to 22 additional cities beyond Emirates’ own network.
Under this partnership, Emirates customers can connect to Chinese destinations via Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. The agreement covers cities across East, Northeast, South, Central, and Southwest China, including Zhengzhou, Changchun, Haikou, Xiangyang, and Dazhou.
The interline arrangement allows travelers to book multi-airline itineraries with a single fare, enjoy one baggage policy, and consistent fare conditions throughout their journey. Tickets are available on Emirates’ official website, through online travel agencies (OTAs), and all major travel agents. Payments via WeChat Pay and Alipay are also supported for convenience.
This agreement is part of Emirates’ continued commitment to the Chinese market. In 2025, the airline added new flights to Shenzhen and Hangzhou and reintroduced its iconic A380 on Shanghai routes. Emirates currently operates 49 weekly flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou using A380s, A350s, and Boeing 777s.
In addition to Loong Air, Emirates has partnerships with Air China, China Southern Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines, providing access to over 110 destinations in China.
Zhejiang Loong Airlines (Loong Air), founded in 2011 and headquartered in Hangzhou, started passenger operations in 2013. The airline has branches in Xi’an, Chengdu, and Guangzhou and operates domestic and international flights, including Hangzhou-Hong Kong and Xi’an-Tashkent. Loong Air has existing interline agreements with carriers like Cathay Pacific and Uzbekistan Airways.
