Etihad Airways will inaugurate its A380 service between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Tokyo's Narita Airport on June 16, 2026, aligning with the peak summer travel season.
Known for its lavish amenities, the A380 features the exclusive three-room suite in the sky, ensuring passengers enjoy an unparalleled journey to Japan.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad, noted the airline's move to enhance capacity in response to heightened traveler interest for flights to Japan. The A380 is perfectly suited for this essential route, effectively catering to business travelers from the UAE to Japan, which share robust economic and cultural connections.
This increase in seating capacity also offers greater options for Japanese visitors coming to Abu Dhabi, whether for a brief stopover or as their main destination.
With the addition of Tokyo, the A380 network now includes service to London, Paris, Toronto, and Singapore. Passengers can now book flights and indulge in the luxury offered by the airline.
