Desert X Prix 2025 Concludes with Thrilling Race in Riyadh

The second and final race of the Desert X Prix, part of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series, concluded on Sunday in Qiddiya City, Riyadh. The event attracted top international drivers and racing teams, thrilling motorsport fans and highlighting the growing popularity of electric off-road racing.

Organization and Key Partners

The race was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Qiddiya City partnered in hosting the event, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting world-class sports initiatives and sustainable racing formats.

Winners of the Desert X Prix

Norway’s Andreas Bakkerud and Britain’s Catie Munnings from Team Hansen claimed first place in the final race, displaying skill and teamwork on the challenging desert track. The second position went to Sweden’s Kevin Hansen and Australia’s Molly Taylor of Jameel Motorsport, who delivered an impressive performance throughout the competition.
