flydubai has announced seven new interline agreements, bringing the total number of its interline partners to over 40. This strategic expansion aims to provide passengers with enhanced connectivity and a smoother travel experience across multiple international destinations.
The new agreements allow flydubai customers to access more than 30 destinations in Europe through partnerships with Greece’s flagship airline, Aegean Airlines, and Italy’s national carrier, ITA Airways. These partnerships enhance travel flexibility and offer more options for passengers seeking to explore key European cities.
In addition to Europe, flydubai passengers travelling to the Far East and South-East Asia now have access to more than 90 destinations. This connectivity comes through partnerships with Myanmar Airways International and Chinese carriers including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines. These alliances significantly expand flydubai’s presence in Asia and make travel across the region more convenient.
Through the interline agreements, passengers can benefit from a seamless travel experience. The partnerships enable single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, reducing travel stress and simplifying connections. This commitment highlights flydubai’s focus on passenger convenience and enhancing the overall travel journey.
Currently, flydubai operates to more than 135 destinations worldwide. With its interline and codeshare partners, the airline provides access to over 300 destinations globally. This growing network allows travellers to connect easily to a wide variety of international cities while reinforcing Dubai’s status as a major aviation hub.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, said, “Since 2009, we have remained committed to enhancing connectivity and facilitating the free flow of trade and tourism. These seven new interline partnerships will give our passengers greater flexibility and choice when planning their journeys, offering access to our partners’ routes across key markets in Europe and Asia.”
Al Ghaith also emphasized the importance of these agreements in promoting Dubai as a leading destination for business and tourism. By connecting more passengers to Dubai through its global network, flydubai strengthens the city’s role as an international hub and supports the wider growth of regional aviation and tourism industries.
The new partnerships align with flydubai’s long-term strategy to expand global connectivity while enhancing passenger convenience. Travelers can expect improved travel options, shorter layovers, and efficient connections through the combined networks of flydubai and its new interline partners.
With these seven new interline agreements, flydubai continues to grow its international reach, offering passengers easy access to destinations across Europe and Asia. This development reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to seamless travel, network expansion, and strengthening Dubai’s position as a global aviation center.
