Flynas to Launch Direct Flights Between Jeddah and Moscow

Flynas, Saudi Arabia’s leading low-cost airline, announced it will begin direct flights connecting Jeddah to Moscow. The new service will complement its recently launched Riyadh-Moscow route, which started in August. The Jeddah-Moscow flights are scheduled to operate three times a week, beginning December 23, linking King Abdulaziz International Airport with Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport.

Collaboration with Tourism Authorities

The new route is part of a joint initiative with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Air Connectivity Program (ACP). Introduced in 2021, ACP supports the launch of new international routes and aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector. The initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s National Civil Aviation Strategy, which targets 250 international destinations, 330 million passengers, and 150 million tourists annually by 2030.

Enhancing Pilgrimage Travel

The Jeddah-Moscow service will not only boost tourism but also support religious travel. The flights will improve access to the two holy mosques in Saudi Arabia through the Pilgrims Experience Program. This program aims to facilitate smoother travel for visitors undertaking Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages, ensuring convenient and affordable connections for international travelers.

Flynas as a Regional Leader

Founded in 2007, Flynas has grown into the largest budget airline in the Middle East and North Africa. It currently serves 72 destinations across the region, Europe, and Asia. The airline has a significant domestic network and has been recognized for its service quality, earning the Middle East’s Leading Low-Cost Airline award from the World Travel Awards and a four-star rating from APEX.

Strategic Importance of the Route

The addition of the Jeddah-Moscow flights will strengthen Flynas’ international network and offer passengers more affordable travel options. It is part of the airline’s strategy to expand connectivity and improve convenience for both leisure and business travelers. The route also demonstrates Flynas’ commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s economic goals through aviation and tourism.

Flynas continues to focus on making travel accessible while maintaining high service standards. By offering new routes like Jeddah-Moscow, the airline ensures travelers benefit from cost-effective, reliable, and efficient air transport options. These expansions reflect the company’s ambition to remain a key player in the global low-cost airline market.

With the launch of the Jeddah-Moscow flights, Flynas is set to enhance Saudi Arabia’s international connectivity, attract more tourists, and simplify travel for pilgrims. The airline’s continuous growth in regional and international routes positions it as a vital contributor to the Kingdom’s civil aviation and tourism objectives.
