The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club is excited to announce the second round of the UAE Formula 4 Powerboat Championship, featuring local and international racers. This thrilling event will unfold over the weekend at the Abu Dhabi Corniche, conducted under the supervision of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

Competitors from nations including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Sudan, Italy, and Norway will join forces, bringing together a rich diversity of competitors. On Saturday, more than ten boats will take to the waters for official practice and qualifying sessions, setting the stage for the main race on Sunday, where winners will be crowned.

The organizing club has confirmed thorough preparations to meet international standards, utilizing advanced tracking, safety, and officiating systems to guarantee a safe and equitable competition. This event is a testament to Abu Dhabi's growing stature as a premier host for major international marine sports.

Thani Al Qemzi, Executive Director of Team Abu Dhabi and Modern Marine Sports, emphasized that the Formula 4 Championship solidifies Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a global center for modern powerboat racing. He noted that such events are instrumental in demonstrating the UAE’s leadership in the marine sports sector, regionally and globally.

Al Qemzi further shared that the two-day format enhances competitors' performance while providing an engaging experience for spectators. It's anticipated that the event will draw a large crowd, including sports fans, local residents, and international visitors, thereby enhancing Abu Dhabi’s appeal as a leading venue for competitive marine sports.

As part of the UAE's extensive initiatives to promote modern marine sports, this championship aims to encourage widespread participation and showcase the country’s dedication to hosting top-tier sporting events. These competitions also seek to inspire a new generation of athletes to become active in water sports, bolstering the UAE’s standing within the global sports arena.

With its stunning scenery along the Corniche and state-of-the-art facilities, Abu Dhabi remains a prime location for athletes to showcase their skills while providing exhilarating experiences for spectators. The Formula 4 Championship promises to be an exhilarating occasion that blends speed, skill, and sportsmanship, capturing attention from audiences across the region and beyond.
