This prominent event showcases the emirate’s dedication to reviving traditional equestrian sports, solidifying its status in both regional and global equestrian circles. Furthermore, it embodies Fujairah’s vision of merging heritage with innovation through sports that highlight deep cultural significance.

Scheduled to take place at the historic Fujairah Fort arena, the championships are organized by the Supreme Committee for Fujairah Equestrian Championships. This initiative is part of the emirate's continuous efforts to promote equestrian activities and support horse owners and riders from within the UAE and abroad, fostering an environment that champions heritage sports intertwined with culture, competition, and community involvement.

The championship events will kick off with the Fujairah International Show Jumping Championship from November 20 to 23, followed by the Fujairah Dressage Championship on November 24, concluding with the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship from November 27 to 29. These competitions promise a celebration of skill and beauty, showcasing both rider talent and the elegance of Arabian horses.

This year introduces the new “Silver Dagger Award,” which honors stables owned by UAE citizens for their contributions towards preserving and enhancing Arabian horse breeds. Additionally, the prestigious “Golden Sword Award” will continue as the highest accolade of the championship, open to all participants. These awards reflect Fujairah’s commitment to supporting national talent and encouraging excellence in heritage sports.

His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the Fujairah Equestrian Championships, indicated that this year's event is a realization of His Highness the Crown Prince's vision. He underscored the significance of equestrian sports as a core component of Arab national identity and cultural heritage. Furthermore, he noted the championship’s position as one of the region’s most awaited equestrian events, blending competitive spirit with cultural importance and a celebration of purebred Arabian horses.

Dr. Al Zeyoudi remarked that the championships symbolize more than just sports; they represent a holistic cultural initiative aimed at reinforcing national pride and promoting equestrianism as a valuable cultural and developmental pursuit. He acknowledged the organizing committee's dedication to ensuring each edition grows, reflecting Fujairah’s ascending international reputation while maintaining strict professional standards.

Vice Chairman Ali Musbah Al Kaabi also expressed his enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing Fujairah’s pivotal role in the global equestrian sports landscape. He highlighted this year's edition for its superior organization, notable participation, and enticing prizes, designed to provide a comprehensive experience for riders and spectators alike. He articulated that these championships significantly enhance Fujairah’s standing as a prime destination for horse-related events, supporting the emirate's broader cultural and sporting development goals.

The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship is conducted under the scrutiny of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, while the dressage and show jumping championship details are managed according to the guidance of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation along with the International Equestrian Federation.
