Google Tests New AI Tool to Manage Emails and Daily Tasks

Google Tests New AI Tool to Manage Emails and Daily Tasks

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Google has introduced a new AI assistant called CC to help users manage their emails, calendar events, and documents easily. The tool works quietly in the background and sends a daily briefing called “Your Day Ahead.” It collects information from Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and the web to show users important tasks, meetings, and documents. CC is designed to reduce stress and make it easy to focus on important work.

CC is powered by Google’s Gemini AI and connects directly to a user’s Google account. It reads emails, checks calendar events, and looks at documents to give personalised advice. Every morning, users get a summary email showing key meetings, important emails, and documents related to the day. It helps users plan and stay ready for their schedule.

The assistant can suggest what tasks to do first and give guidance on important items. It cannot fully send emails or change meetings automatically but can help draft replies or make small adjustments. Users can reply to CC emails to ask for help or advice. CC is made to assist, not replace full email or calendar management.

CC improves as users interact with it. The more people use it, the better it learns what is important and provides more useful suggestions. This makes it easier to manage daily work without feeling overwhelmed.

Currently, CC is available for Google AI Ultra subscribers. Other users can join a waitlist to try the tool soon. Google plans to slowly give access to more users as CC gets smarter.

Experts say CC is helpful for people who find it hard to manage emails, meetings, and documents. It summarises information in a clear and simple way, saving time and keeping users organised.

In short, Google’s CC AI is a smart assistant that helps users manage emails, calendar events, and documents. It gives daily summaries, suggestions, and support, making work easier and more organised for everyone.
