Tokyo's Governor Yuriko Koike is confirmed to deliver a keynote speech at the upcoming FII PRIORITY Asia Summit, set to occur from November 30 to December 1, 2025. The summit will revolve around the theme “The New Asia.” This pivotal gathering aims to unite over 1,000 leaders from various sectors including government, business, and civil society, as the global dialogue on economic growth shifts focus from the West to the East. The event seeks to inspire fresh ideas and foster prosperity to ultimately benefit humanity.
Following her notable speech at FII9 in Riyadh, Governor Koike will underscore Tokyo’s ambition to reclaim its status as Asia’s premier international financial and innovation hub. She is expected to delineate strategies to attract new investments, talent, and innovative concepts that can robustly enhance the city's economy and future.
Among the notable speakers attending the summit are Yasir Al Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the FII Institute Board of Trustees; Matteo Renzi, former Prime Minister of Italy; Masayoshi Son, CEO of SoftBank Group; and Akihiro Fukutome, CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).
Other esteemed participants include Hiromi Yamaji, CEO of Japan Exchange Group; Ivan Espinosa, CEO of Nissan Motor; and Kanetsugu Mike, Chairman of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. The event will also host international figures like Laura M. Cha, Trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation, showcasing the summit’s wide-reaching impact and significance.
