Following her notable speech at FII9 in Riyadh, Governor Koike will underscore Tokyo’s ambition to reclaim its status as Asia’s premier international financial and innovation hub. She is expected to delineate strategies to attract new investments, talent, and innovative concepts that can robustly enhance the city's economy and future.

Among the notable speakers attending the summit are Yasir Al Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the FII Institute Board of Trustees; Matteo Renzi, former Prime Minister of Italy; Masayoshi Son, CEO of SoftBank Group; and Akihiro Fukutome, CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

Other esteemed participants include Hiromi Yamaji, CEO of Japan Exchange Group; Ivan Espinosa, CEO of Nissan Motor; and Kanetsugu Mike, Chairman of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. The event will also host international figures like Laura M. Cha, Trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation, showcasing the summit’s wide-reaching impact and significance.

As part of the FII Institute's global initiative, the Tokyo summit will dive into Asia's emergent role in spurring global growth, sustainability, and innovation. A broad spectrum of discussions will focus on pivotal themes influencing both the region and the world.

Key topics of this year’s summit will encompass future urban development, enhancement of capital markets, and the transition to a green economy, alongside advancements in technology and the evolving nature of work. The objective is to devise actionable solutions that foster well-being and long-lasting prosperity.

The summit emphasizes Asia's escalating influence in global affairs. As Asian economies modernize and flourish, the region is emerging as a nexus of investment, creativity, and sustainable practices. The FII PRIORITY Asia Summit in Tokyo is poised to bolster this transformation and encourage deeper collaborations among Asian nations and their global counterparts.
