Gulf Air, Bahrain's national airline, has confirmed that it would restart scheduled flights to and from Baghdad, Najaf, and Amman, Jordan, starting tomorrow, June 28. These routes were temporarily disrupted due to escalating regional tensions, forcing the airline to suspend services to these areas.
The airline clarified that the decision to pause these flights was made with the utmost priority placed on the safety and well-being of its passengers and crew. Gulf Air expressed its commitment to ensuring safe travel, which led to the suspension of flights to Iraq and Jordan during the period of instability. However, with the situation now stabilizing, Gulf Air has announced the full resumption of its operations to these cities starting tomorrow.
Gulf Air was created in 1950 and is one of the Middle East's oldest and most established airlines. The airline provides daily flights from its hub at Bahrain International Airport to several destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Far East.
The airline also promised its customers that all other flights in its network would continue to operate on schedule, with no more problems expected. Gulf Air thanked its passengers for their patience and understanding at this period, explaining that the decision to temporarily cease flights was made to prioritize everyone's safety.
As Gulf Air resumes services to Iraq and Jordan, the airline is convinced that its strong commitment to passenger safety, combined with its long history of dependability, will keep it a trusted choice for regional passengers.
