Haryana CM Celebrates Shafali Verma's World Cup Victory

In a commendable gesture, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honored Shafali Verma, who played a crucial role in India’s triumph at the Women’s World Cup. The award ceremony, held at the CM’s residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, saw Saini present the talented cricketer with a shawl, a cheque of ₹1.5 crore, and a prestigious ‘Grade A’ sports gradation certificate.

During the event, Saini expressed his admiration for Shafali’s impressive achievements and declared her as the brand ambassador for the Haryana State Women’s Commission.
