The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced the third edition of PFL: Road to Dubai, set for a thrilling night of MMA at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on February 7, 2026. This event underscores the growing collaboration between PFL, the Dubai Sports Council, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, solidifying Dubai's status as a premier venue for international sports.
The event will be headlined by undefeated PFL Lightweight World Champion Usman Nurmagomedov, who boasts an impressive record of 20 wins, no losses, and one no-contest. Nurmagomedov will defend his title against Alfie “The Axe Man” Davis, winner of the 2025 PFL Lightweight World Tournament, who comes in with a 20-5-1 record. Anticipation is building for this showdown among MMA aficionados worldwide, with additional fights scheduled to be announced soon.
Fans keen on getting early access can sign up for pre-sale tickets, available until 12:00 pm GST on November 21. Registrants will enjoy a 72-hour window to buy tickets before general sales commence at 12:00 pm GST on November 24. The PFL is expecting a significant turnout at the Coca-Cola Arena for what promises to be one of the largest MMA events in Dubai.
Usman Nurmagomedov enters this marquee match after two notable victories over Ireland's Paul Hughes, showcasing elite striking and wrestling skills. Under the mentorship of MMA icon Khabib Nurmagomedov, Usman has become a formidable presence in the sport, ready to demonstrate the contrast in skill and experience against Davis in this highly anticipated main event in Dubai.
In contrast, Alfie Davis steps into the octagon with unwavering determination. He overcame significant odds throughout the 2025 tournament, defeating top contenders in three consecutive bouts to win the championship and a substantial $500,000 prize. His impressive victory over Gadzhi Rabadanov, Usman's training partner, proves his capability. Noted for his unpredictable karate style, Davis has astonished fans with his surprising strikes, including a highlight-reel spinning elbow knockout and axe-kick finishes that have earned him recognition and accolades.
PFL CEO John Martin relayed his enthusiasm for the event, anticipating it to be one of the most unforgettable MMA experiences in the city. He lauded Usman Nurmagomedov's prowess as a champion and praised Alfie Davis for consistently surpassing expectations. Martin urged fans to secure their tickets quickly, asserting that this will be PFL's most extensive fight card yet for Dubai.
Eisa Sharif, Director of the Events Department at Dubai Sports Council, emphasized the significance of such events. He noted that support from the Dubai Sports Council reflects the city’s dedication to hosting world-class sporting competitions. By attracting top athletes, these events not only enhance Dubai's global sporting image but also serve to inspire local communities to embrace a sports-oriented and healthy lifestyle.
As we approach February 2026, PFL: Road to Dubai is on track to deliver an exceptional evening packed with elite talent, energetic international vibes, and a compelling title match that MMA enthusiasts won't want to miss.
