The inaugural diabetes hackathon has been officially initiated during the Third International Conference of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Al-Baha, held at King Fahad Hospital, which is part of the Al-Baha Health Cluster.
Among the attendees were Dr. Ali Al Mansour, CEO of Al-Baha Health Cluster, and Naif Al-Matrafi, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Al-Baha. The event gathered an esteemed assembly of physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from Saudi Arabia and globally.
This pioneering hackathon is designed to spark innovative thinking and hasten the creation of cutting-edge technological and scientific solutions aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals with diabetes. Moreover, it aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services offered to patients.
The overarching conference works as a significant platform for exchanging knowledge, uniting experts who share insights, encourage scientific inquiry, and foster collaboration within the medical community. It also aims to elevate public health consciousness and back ongoing efforts to develop the healthcare sector.
