Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Chinese smartphone maker iQOO is gearing up to shake up the Indian premium market with its highly anticipated flagship, the iQOO 15, debuting on November 26. Marketed as a performance powerhouse, this device aims to compete head-to-head with leading Android smartphones, boasting cutting-edge specifications and enhanced cooling systems.

Modern Aesthetic with Unique Elements

Initial leaks and sneak peeks indicate that the iQOO 15 sports a fresh design approach. The rear features a square camera array complemented by an RGB light ring, while the aluminium frame imparts a premium quality. The front showcases a flat display with sharper contours, presenting a bold, contemporary design.

Unmatched Performance Features

Under its hood, the iQOO 15 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, along with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The inclusion of a Q3 Supercomputing chip guarantees steady gaming performance with reliable frame rates. The device runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, tailored for the Indian market.

The display is said to feature a 6.85-inch curved Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED panel, offering a 2K+ resolution, refresh rates of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The cooling system is designed to impress, featuring an 8,000 sq mm vapour cooling chamber that keeps the phone cool during prolonged gaming or multitasking.

Camera and Battery Highlights

Photography lovers can look forward to a triple camera setup with three 50MP lenses—including a main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto—with OIS. The 32MP front camera is proficient for selfies and video chats. Rumors suggest a battery capacity of 7,000 mAh, coupled with 100W fast charging, allowing for extensive usage without compromise.

Pricing and Launch Details

Although iQOO hasn't officially announced the pricing, leaks hint that the iQOO 15 may start at approximately Rs 59,999 in India. The launch on November 26 is expected to unveil final specifications, available variants, and pricing.

With its powerful specifications, high-quality display, and gamer-friendly cooling solutions, the iQOO 15 is set to position itself as a formidable contender among premium smartphones in India, enticing those in search of an authentic flagship experience.
