Kamini Kaushal, a stalwart of Indian cinema, passed away at the age of 98, prompting a heartfelt gathering in Mumbai to celebrate her life and contributions. The prayer meet brought together several notable figures from the film industry, including Jaya Bachchan and Waheeda Rehman, as they came to pay their respects. Kamini Kaushal's career began with filmmaker Chetan Anand’s Neecha Nagar (1946), which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. Over her illustrious seven-decade career, she captivated audiences with stellar performances in films like Biraj Bahu, Shaheed, Arzoo, and Ziddi. After the 1990s, she took on occasional roles, including appearances in Chennai Express and Kabir Singh.
