The Jaydana waterfront project in Jazan City marks a major development for the region's tourism infrastructure. Announced by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) at TOURISE 2025, the project aims to make Jazan a leading Red Sea tourist destination. This initiative highlights the region’s growing role in tourism and investment opportunities.
RCJY stated that the Jaydana project aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by supporting economic diversification. The development is designed to improve quality of life, attract investors, and enhance the city’s reputation as a hub for tourism and industrial growth. Integrating industrial development with tourism is a unique feature of this project.
Spanning over three square kilometers on the waterfront, the project is expected to attract more than $2.9 billion in investments in its first phases. RCJY has invited both investors and real estate developers to explore the available opportunities, reflecting confidence in Jazan as a prominent investment destination.
The Jaydana project will include a wide range of tourism and recreational facilities. Visitors can expect resorts, luxury hotels, a marina, and seaside restaurants and cafes. Additionally, there will be a promenade, open event spaces, a water sports center, and a conference and exhibition center, catering to both leisure and business tourism.
The project’s architecture combines modern designs with the cultural identity of Jazan and its southern heritage. This blending of tradition and innovation creates a vibrant destination that offers relaxation, entertainment, cultural experiences, and sports activities for residents and tourists alike.
RCJY describes Jaydana as a strategic initiative that not only boosts tourism but also enhances the overall urban development of Jazan City. The project aims to attract both domestic and international visitors, helping the region become a key economic and cultural hub along the Red Sea.
With the Jaydana waterfront project, Jazan is set to become a premier destination for tourists and investors. The project represents a significant step forward in diversifying the local economy, providing world-class facilities, and supporting Saudi Arabia’s broader economic and social goals under Vision 2030.
