Jeddah Corniche Welcomes the Aramco F4 Series' Third Round

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is set to take over the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for its third round beginning Monday. This venue, recognized as one of the fastest street circuits globally, will present considerable challenges for budding drivers due to its high speeds and tight turns.

As a premier event in the Kingdom’s motorsport calendar, the championship garners significant international interest. Fans are eager for thrilling races and exceptional skill displays from emerging talents across various countries.

In this round, 16 drivers representing eight teams will aim to secure crucial points that could impact their standings in the championship table.

Organized under the auspices of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and backed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), this event adheres strictly to international standards to ensure both safety and fairness.

The championship consists of five rounds, with the initial two having taken place at Bahrain International Circuit, where contestants exhibited remarkable prowess amidst stiff competition.

The upcoming round will unfold in Jeddah on November 10–11, followed by the fourth round on November 14–15. The season culminates with the final round on December 5–6. Each round is instrumental in honing drivers’ skills and preparing them for elevated racing careers.

Famed for its extreme straights and challenging corners, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit extends approximately six kilometers with more than twenty twists—making it one of the world’s most captivating racing venues.

Competitors will need a blend of skill and bravery to navigate the high-speed challenges safely. Previously hosting events like the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the circuit now serves as a testing ground for young F4 racers.

The F4 Championship is part of Saudi Arabia’s vision to enhance motorsport, underpinned by support from Aramco and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. This initiative fosters the development of future racing champions.

Additionally, it aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 aspiration to advance both sports and tourism sectors. By organizing top-tier motorsport events, Saudi Arabia is establishing itself as a prominent hub for global racing.

With the season hitting its midpoint, pressure mounts on drivers to excel. Each earned point in Jeddah will be pivotal in shaping the championship leaderboard.

Teams are also required to meticulously strategize their races, focusing on tire selections and pit stops, as the Jeddah outcomes could significantly influence overall season results.

Motorsport enthusiasts in Saudi Arabia are eagerly anticipating this round. The combination of speed, rivalry, and the picturesque Red Sea backdrop makes the Jeddah event a highlight of the racing season.

With heightened expectations and a talented grid, the third round of the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is poised to deliver exhilarating action, competitive spirit, and heart-pounding moments as rising stars face off at Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
