Jeddah Central To Build Atlantis And One&Only Luxury Hotels

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Jeddah Central Development Company, a major subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has entered into a significant investment partnership with Midad Real Estate Company. This new collaboration aims to develop two world-class luxury hotels — the Atlantis and the One&Only — within the large and rapidly growing Jeddah Central Destination. The agreement represents a major step forward in bringing globally recognised hospitality brands to the Kingdom for the first time.

The partnership signing took place on the third day of the TOURISE Summit held in Riyadh. The event was attended by high-level leaders, including Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb and Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shaibani, Chairman of the Board of Kerzner International. Their presence highlights the importance of the agreement and the value Saudi Arabia places on building strong partnerships with global tourism and hospitality companies.

As part of the new investment partnership, Midad Real Estate Company signed a formal agreement with Kerzner International. This company owns and manages the world-famous Atlantis and One&Only hotel brands. Through this agreement, Kerzner will develop and operate both the Atlantis Jeddah and One&Only Jeddah resorts. This marks the first time the two iconic brands will open properties in the Kingdom. Their arrival is expected to transform the tourism landscape in Jeddah and attract visitors from around the world.

The total investment for the two luxury hotel projects is more than SAR 7 billion. This large investment demonstrates the strong confidence international investors have in the Jeddah Central Destination and the future of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector. It also aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, which aim to diversify the economy, create job opportunities, and raise the contribution of tourism to the national GDP.

The Atlantis Jeddah project will be one of the most luxurious and modern destinations in the region. The project will include branded hotel rooms designed to offer high levels of comfort, elegance, and world-class services. It will also feature luxury private residences for buyers seeking a premium lifestyle on the Red Sea coast. One of the major attractions of Atlantis Jeddah will be its large water park, designed to offer fun, excitement, and adventure for families and tourists. In addition, the complex will offer several entertainment facilities integrated into the overall destination, making it a complete experience for visitors.

The One&Only Jeddah resort will bring a new vision of luxury and comfort to the Red Sea shoreline. The resort will feature exclusive hotel suites designed with high-end finishing and world-class hospitality services. Luxury residences will also be available for those who wish to enjoy a premium beachfront lifestyle. The resort’s prime location on the Red Sea offers visitors and residents a peaceful and beautiful environment, combining natural scenery with luxury hospitality. One&Only resorts are known internationally for their privacy, elegance, and attention to detail, making their arrival in Jeddah a major step in elevating the city’s status as a global destination.

The addition of the Atlantis and One&Only hotels is expected to strengthen the position of Jeddah Central Destination as one of the leading tourism, entertainment, and investment hubs in Saudi Arabia. These projects complement other major developments planned for the area, including cultural attractions, commercial zones, residential districts, and recreational facilities. Together, they will attract local, regional, and international visitors and support job creation and business growth.

The partnership between Jeddah Central Development Company, Midad Real Estate, and Kerzner International marks an important moment for Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector. With more than SAR 7 billion in investment and the introduction of two world-famous hotel brands, the Jeddah Central Destination is set to become a new global tourism landmark. The development of Atlantis Jeddah and One&Only Jeddah will enrich the city’s tourism offerings, support national economic goals, and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for luxury travel.
