During the launch event for her upcoming film Uttar, Kajol highlighted the significance of healthy disagreements between parents and their children. She believes that such arguments empower kids to form their own viewpoints and enhance the bond they share with their parents.
“Thank goodness my daughter isn’t here to respond—I know she’d have something to say. This is quite true; arguments are essential,” Kajol noted. She further remarked, “When we clash, it indicates we’re raising children who can think independently. Their disagreements with me feel like a compliment.”
Tanuja, her mother and a respected actress, chimed in with a fond memory of Kajol’s childhood, recalling their own debates. The atmosphere turned playful as Kajol humorously insisted they never argued, only for Tanuja to counter her statement.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been partners for 26 years and are proud parents to Nysa and Yug Devgn.
On the work front, Kajol last appeared in the supernatural flick Maa and alongside Kriti Sanon in Do Patti. She is set to star in Maharagni: Queen of Queens and also hosts the talk show Too Much with Twinkle Khanna.
