Family Ties Repaired: Krushna Abhishek and Arti Singh Reconcile with Sunita Ahuja

Post by : Meena Hassan

Harmony has been restored in the Abhishek-Ahuja household. Sunita Ahuja, the wife of renowned actor Govinda, has ended her long-standing rift with nephew Krushna Abhishek and niece Arti Singh.

In a recent conversation on a podcast hosted by Paras Chhabra, Sunita commented on letting go of the past: “Krushna grew up alongside Vinay and Dumpy with me. They hold a special place in my heart, like my own children. I’ve put everything behind me. What matters now is the happiness and laughter of all the children together,” she shared.

Elated by her sentiments, Arti Singh told HT City that she couldn’t be happier. “Yes, I watched that interview. It brought me immense joy! We have always seen her as a mother figure. Despite everything, I’ve never voiced any grievances. I’m relieved she has made peace with Krushna at last,” Arti mentioned.

The family discord reportedly stemmed from Krushna's jokes about his uncle Govinda on a comedy program, which Sunita perceived as offensive. Though Krushna sought forgiveness and attempted to mend their relationship over the years, tensions remained until now.

During the podcast, Sunita shared her desire for Arti to consider motherhood soon, stating, “There’s no time for disputes anymore. I want Arti to become a mother shortly. She ties rakhi to Yash annually.”

With warmth, Arti replied, “Whenever the time is right, she will be a fabulous nani! I have cherished mami and Chi Chi mama with all my heart. They have always been like parental figures to us.”
