The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center is carrying out wide-ranging humanitarian projects across Pakistan with a strong focus on education and basic infrastructure. One of the main initiatives includes the construction of 300 new schools in all provinces of Pakistan, aiming to provide safe and supportive learning spaces for children from vulnerable communities.
In addition, four government schools are being built in areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir that were badly affected by earthquakes. These schools are expected to help restore access to education for students who lost facilities due to natural disasters.
The center is also working on the rehabilitation of 22 different facilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. These projects include the repair and improvement of schools, health centers, and water facilities, helping communities gain long-term benefits and better living conditions.
To strengthen emergency readiness, KSrelief is currently constructing a logistics warehouse in Islamabad. This facility will support disaster management efforts by improving early preparation and allowing faster delivery of aid during emergencies. Through these initiatives, KSrelief continues to support Pakistan’s development and enhance its ability to respond effectively to future disasters.
