Kuwait Airways announced on Saturday that it has rescheduled most of its flights after Kuwait International Airport temporarily suspended takeoff and landing operations due to Iranian missile and drone attacks.
In a post on social media platform X, the airline said the changes were made because of the temporary halt in airport operations. Kuwait Airways also confirmed that passengers would receive updates about any changes to their flight schedules through their registered phone numbers.
The temporary suspension of flights came as Kuwait faced a new wave of Iranian missile and drone attacks. Airport authorities paused takeoff and landing operations as a precaution before services gradually resumed, allowing Kuwait Airways to adjust and restart most scheduled flights.
The airline advised travelers to monitor the updates sent directly to their registered contact numbers for the latest flight information.
Kuwait's Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Ministry said that an Iranian attack struck a power generation and water desalination plant in the country.

According to the ministry, this was the second attack on Kuwaiti water desalination facilities within two days, raising concerns over damage to critical infrastructure.
Earlier on Saturday, Kuwait's national media office reported that warning sirens were activated for the fifth time as the country came under Iranian missile and drone attacks.
The repeated alerts reflected the ongoing security situation as authorities continued monitoring the attacks and responding to potential threats.
The US military's Central Command said it completed its seventh consecutive day of operations by carrying out strikes on Iranian surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities, and maritime capabilities.
The military said the strikes were part of its continuing campaign targeting Iran's military infrastructure.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed concern over the growing conflict, according to his spokesperson on Friday.
The spokesperson said Guterres was particularly worried about the escalation of violence and the attacks on civilian infrastructure in Iran and across the wider region.
