Lebanese President Thanks Bahrain for Support and Unity

His Excellency General Joseph Aoun, the President of the Lebanese Republic, recently made an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. As part of this visit, he met with editors-in-chief of local newspapers. During the meeting, President Aoun expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and people of Bahrain for their ongoing support for Lebanon’s security, unity, and peace.

He started by sincerely thanking the Kingdom of Bahrain for standing by Lebanon during difficult times. He said that Lebanon has always felt the kindness and support of Bahrain, especially during times of crises. This kind of support has helped Lebanon stay strong and united.

President Aoun also thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the warm welcome and generous hospitality he received during his visit. He highlighted that the kind treatment he and his delegation received reflects the deep friendship and respect that exists between Bahrain and Lebanon.

Strong Praise for King Hamad and Bahrain’s Leadership

The Lebanese President spoke highly of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised King Hamad for his wise leadership and his consistent efforts to promote peace and stability across the Arab region. According to President Aoun, Bahrain has always played a very important role in encouraging unity and cooperation among Arab countries.

He described the positions taken by Bahrain, under King Hamad’s leadership, as “honourable.” These include initiatives to bring Arab nations closer together, protect Arab interests, and solve problems in the region through peaceful dialogue and teamwork.

Bahrain’s Warm Feelings for Lebanon Appreciated

President Aoun said he truly values the love and support that the King and the people of Bahrain have always shown toward Lebanon. He mentioned that this affection shows how strong and long-lasting the bond is between the two countries.

He went on to say that the Lebanese people feel the same way. They are grateful to Bahrain for always being there for them, especially when Lebanon needed help the most. The President added that this friendly relationship is something the Lebanese people will always remember and cherish.

Bahrain-Lebanon Relations Continue to Grow

President Aoun shared his thoughts on how the relationship between Bahrain and Lebanon has grown stronger over time. He said that both countries have continued to work closely together in many areas, including politics, culture, and regional cooperation.

He explained that this close connection is based on mutual respect and shared values. According to him, the governments and people of both countries regularly coordinate and consult with each other on important regional issues. This collaboration reflects their commitment to peace, progress, and unity in the Arab world.

Focus on Regional Peace and Shared Arab Goals

During the meeting, President Aoun also spoke about important regional matters. He mentioned that Lebanon, just like Bahrain, strongly believes in promoting peace, harmony, and tolerance in the region. These are the values that both countries share, and they are working to protect and spread these ideals across the Arab world.

He also said that Lebanon supports all efforts made by Bahrain to bring Arab countries together and to find peaceful solutions to regional conflicts. According to him, these efforts show how committed Bahrain is to creating a stable and peaceful future for everyone in the region.

Congratulations on Bahrain’s UN Security Council Membership

One of the special highlights of the meeting was President Aoun’s congratulations to Bahrain on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. This is a major achievement for Bahrain, and the Lebanese President was happy to acknowledge it.

He said that Bahrain’s selection for this important role shows the world’s trust in its leadership. He also expressed his confidence that Bahrain, under King Hamad’s wise leadership, will perform this global duty responsibly and with great care.

President Aoun believes that Bahrain will be a strong and fair voice for the Arab world in the United Nations. He said he is sure that Bahrain will work hard to promote peace, defend justice, and represent Arab causes with dignity and wisdom.

Bahrain's Role as a Bridge for Understanding

Throughout his comments, President Aoun emphasized how Bahrain has always tried to bring different viewpoints together.
