The report provides both global and local perspectives, offering insights into the current economic climate and trends shaping Madinah Region’s growth. It serves as an essential tool for policymakers, investors, and stakeholders seeking accurate data on the region’s economic trajectory.

The report reveals that Madinah Region is experiencing rapid economic activity, with more than 224 development projects underway. The total value of these projects exceeds SAR 200 billion. These initiatives cover multiple sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, tourism, technology, and real estate. Such large-scale projects are expected to create significant opportunities for both local and international investors, further enhancing the region’s economic diversity and sustainability.

The report also highlights strong workforce growth in Madinah Region. The total number of workers reached 479,707, representing 60.7% of the total population. Male participation in the private sector during the first quarter of 2025 stood at 57.3%, while female participation reached 28.7%. These figures indicate growing inclusion in the labor market and reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen employment opportunities, particularly for Saudi women, in line with Vision 2030 objectives.

One of the primary objectives of the economic report is to provide decision-makers and investors with valuable insights. The data helps identify promising investment opportunities and supports planning for economic development. By analyzing trends in key sectors, the report offers a roadmap for strategic investments, encouraging sustainable growth and aligning with the long-term goals of the Kingdom.

The Madinah Chamber emphasized that the report contributes to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and enhance private sector participation. By tracking development projects and workforce participation, the report offers evidence of progress in creating a balanced, modern economy. It also underscores the role of Madinah Region as a hub for innovation, tourism, and infrastructure development.

With continued investments across diverse sectors, Madinah Region is poised for sustained economic growth. The report highlights the potential for international partnerships and innovative projects that can drive the region’s development further.
