On Wednesday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim declared that Malaysia will swiftly deport any Israeli national discovered within its borders, as officials probe claims suggesting that an Israeli citizen might be connected to activities in a private community in Johor.

Anwar affirmed that appropriate government bodies are looking into the accusations and emphasized that no leniency would be shown if the allegations are proven true. "If we identify any Israeli, we will deport them without delay because we do not recognize Israel," Anwar stated, according to reports.

Ongoing Inquiry into Allegations Involving Johor Community
