On Wednesday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim declared that Malaysia will swiftly deport any Israeli national discovered within its borders, as officials probe claims suggesting that an Israeli citizen might be connected to activities in a private community in Johor.
Anwar affirmed that appropriate government bodies are looking into the accusations and emphasized that no leniency would be shown if the allegations are proven true. "If we identify any Israeli, we will deport them without delay because we do not recognize Israel," Anwar stated, according to reports.
The inquiry is a response to allegations concerning Network School, a community start-up situated in Johor. Following a request from the Johor state government, Malaysia's Home Ministry has initiated a formal investigation into the claims.

Authorities are currently examining the allegations to ascertain if any laws or immigration regulations have been breached.
Malaysia does not officially recognize Israel, and entry for Israeli passport holders is typically denied unless specific approval is granted by Malaysian authorities.
Prime Minister Anwar reiterated the stance of the government, clarifying that any confirmed breach by an Israeli national will trigger immediate expulsion from the country.
In a separate update on Wednesday, Malaysia's Immigration Department revealed that they inspected 266 foreign residents within an international community in Forest City.
The department confirmed that all inspected individuals possessed valid immigration documentation, and no violations of immigration laws were found during the checks.
