Despite not making it to the Top 12 at Miss Universe 2025, Miss India Manika Vishwakarma garnered immense admiration for her poise and striking presence. She particularly wowed attendees during the swimsuit segment, showcasing a stunning white outfit.
Following the finale in Nonthaburi, Thailand—where Mexico's Fatima Bosch claimed the Miss Universe 2025 title—Manika took to Instagram to express her heartfelt thanks. She shared and responded to numerous supportive messages from both fans and fellow contestants.
When Nandini Gupta, who represented India at Miss World 2025, commended her efforts, Manika responded with appreciation, stating, “Thank you. You are our pride. Rajasthani supremacy.” Nandini, also a Rajasthan native, praised Manika for shining brightly and representing India with grace.
Manika made it to the Top 30, recognized for her captivating stage presence and impressive outfits. Her gold national costume, inspired by Buddhism's origins in India, was particularly memorable in the costume round, coupled with a gorgeous golden gown for the main event.
The 2025 pageant concluded with Fatima Bosch taking the crown, while the Top 5 also included Praveenar Singh from Thailand, Stephany Abasali from Venezuela, Ahtisa Manalo from the Philippines, and Olivia Yacé from Côte d’Ivoire.
This year's competition faced its share of controversies. An organizer from Thailand, Nawat Itsaragrisil, reportedly called Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch a “dumbhead,” prompting her and some contestants to exit an event. Concerns about fairness arose as judges Omar Harfouch and Claude Makélélé stepped down, citing issues with the integrity of the competition, including the alleged preselection of the Top 30.
