Post by : Meena Hassan

Representing India at the 74th Miss Universe event in Thailand, Manika Vishwakarma has captured attention with her grace, intelligence, and advocacy efforts. Her presence extends beyond mere beauty; she embodies the ethos of empowerment and education.

For her official introduction on Instagram by the Miss Universe Organisation, Manika chose an exquisite peacock green saree, symbolizing Indian craftsmanship. Made from delicate chiffon, the saree features intricate gold zari work, eye-catching sequin detailing, a scalloped hem, and floral motifs, embodying traditional artistry.

The look was accentuated with a matching peacock green blouse, boasting a wide bateau neckline and a plunging backless design complemented by chic dori ties, blending contemporary flair with classic elegance. Accessories included a striking choker, matching earrings, kadhas, and a mang tika, all embellished with glimmering crystals and emeralds, enhancing her majestic appearance.

Manika’s makeup was glamorously refined, featuring bold brows, shimmering gold eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and mascara-drenched lashes. She sported delicate blush, a highlighter for a radiant glow, glossy coral-pink lips, and a petite bindi. Her traditionally braided hairstyle completed the captivating look.

In addition to her stunning appearance, the Miss Universe Organisation spotlighted her accomplishments. She is a political science student and an award-winning artist with a fervent commitment to neurodiversity through her initiative, Neuronova. Also, she serves as a medical volunteer in rural clinics, ensuring better healthcare access for women, reflecting her dedication to social change.

With her elegance and commitment to meaningful causes, Manika Vishwakarma is not only a beauty ambassador but also a force of change, representing India with distinction on the global Miss Universe stage.
