Manika Vishwakarma Expresses Condolences for Delhi Blast

Post by : Meena Hassan

In the wake of the tragic blast at Red Fort in Delhi, Manika Vishwakarma, India’s Miss Universe 2025, has voiced her grief and solidarity with the victims and their families. Taking to Instagram on November 11, she expressed that she was “speechless and heartbroken” following this harrowing event that has left the nation in shock.

Heartfelt Message for Delhi and the Nation

In her poignant message, Manika stated,

“To my fellow countrymen, to my beloved Delhi, and to every family impacted by this devastating blast, my heart feels heavy today. The bomb blast in our cherished national capital has spread shock and a deep sense of sorrow throughout the country.”

She extended her prayers to those who suffered losses and wished for a swift recovery for the injured. The beauty queen lauded the courage of first responders and highlighted the resilience of Delhi’s residents, stating that their strength embodies the indomitable spirit of India.

“Together, We Shall Heal”

Manika, who earned the title of Miss Universe India 2025 earlier in the year, emphasized that her role carries significant responsibility.

“For me, donning the Miss Universe India crown is more than just a title. It is an opportunity to advocate for unity, peace, and kindness, especially in these challenging times. I use my voice to assert: we will not let fear divide us. We will care for each other and heal together.”

She encouraged the public to embrace unity over fear and hope over despair, imploring everyone to honor the victims by staying strong and unified as a nation.

Manika Vishwakarma was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on August 18, 2025. She will represent India in the upcoming 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand on November 21, 2025.

A beacon of grace and compassion, Manika continues to inspire her followers with her empathy and her appreciation for national pride, reminding all that unity and kindness epitomize India’s true essence.
