Manoj Bajpayee Shares a Surprising Encounter with Amitabh Bachchan

Post by : Meena Hassan

In a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharib Hashmi are promoting the upcoming third season of The Family Man. A new promotional clip highlights their animated conversations with host Amitabh Bachchan, featuring an amusing story that Bajpayee shares.

During the segment, Manoj narrates a surprising past incident where Amitabh unintentionally left him astonished. He lightheartedly mentions, “Amit ji ne ek baar mujhe maar diya tha. Mera heart attack ho jata sirf Amit ji ke karan. Yeh pura mujhe upar le jaane ke liye plan kiya gaya tha. Main awakh reh gaya ki inhone kya bola. Inhone meri jaan le li thi.” Although he does not reveal the entire context, it is hinted that the situation was orchestrated in a manner that caught him off guard. Amitabh, visibly entertained, encourages him to disclose “the entire truth,” implying that the incident may have involved some playful antics.

The promo further showcases a delightful moment where Amitabh delivers his iconic Zanjeer quote, adding a Bhojpuri twist that has both the actors and the studio audience in stitches. This playful humor and camaraderie signify an entertaining episode rich in nostalgia.

Just days before, the show featured renowned stand-up comedians such as Harsh Gujral and Anubhav Singh Bassi, who brought plenty of laughter to the set, with Amitabh himself showcasing his own comedic flair.

Fans can look forward to the episode with Bajpayee, Ahlawat, and Hashmi, expected to deliver a mix of entertainment, witty banter, and insights into The Family Man 3, airing this Friday at 9 PM.
