Martha Stewart, renowned lifestyle entrepreneur, has joined the ownership group of Swansea City as a minority co-owner. Her decision followed an exciting 2-1 victory against Wrexham last Friday, enhancing her desire to be part of the club. Stewart, recognized as the first female self-made billionaire in the U.S., adds a distinguished name to Swansea's roster of celebrity investors.
Swansea City expressed great enthusiasm about Stewart's involvement, emphasizing how her stadium visit amplified her interest in the club’s future. The club acknowledged her evident passion for the sport and the vibrant atmosphere of live matches.
With Stewart joining the ranks, she will be alongside notable figures like Snoop Dogg, who became a minority owner in July, and football star Luka Modric, who added his expertise to the ownership group in April, injecting global appeal into the Welsh club.
