Mbappe Nets Four to Propel Real Madrid to Victory Over Olympiacos 4-3

In a thrilling Champions League match in Athens on Wednesday, Kylian Mbappe delivered a stunning performance, netting four goals to secure a hard-fought 4-3 comeback victory for Real Madrid against Olympiacos.

The Greek side struck first with Chiquinho scoring in the 8th minute. However, Real Madrid quickly responded, equalizing as Mbappe found the net in the 22nd minute, skillfully eluding two defenders thanks to an assist from Vinicius Jr. Within two minutes, Mbappe scored again, this time heading in a cross from Arda Guler. His hat-trick came in just 6 minutes and 42 seconds, one of the fastest recorded in Champions League history.

Madrid maintained the upper hand throughout the first half, nearly increasing their lead when Aurelien Tchouameni struck the post. Yet, Olympiacos wasn't done, narrowing the gap in the second half with a header from Mehdi Taremi. Mbappe subsequently added his fourth goal around the 60-minute mark, assisted once again by Vinicius Jr., pushing Real ahead 4-2.

Despite the setback, Olympiacos continued to apply pressure, with Ayoub El Kaabi scoring in the 81st minute to reduce the deficit to 4-3. The Greek team surged in the closing stages but failed to level the score.

This victory marked Real Madrid's first win at Olympiacos in five attempts, breaking a three-match winless spell across competitions. The result elevated them to fifth in the Champions League standings with 12 points, keeping their hopes alive for a spot in the knockout stage, while Olympiacos remained at the bottom with just two points.
