Netra Mantena's Dazzling Udaipur Wedding: A Glamorous Affair

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The enchanting city of Udaipur became a canvas of elegance and celebrity on November 23, 2025, as Netra Mantena, daughter of prominent U.S. pharmaceutical mogul Rama Raju Mantena, exchanged vows with tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju. This opulent wedding unfolded across iconic venues, including The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal, and a picturesque island palace on Lake Pichola, blending tradition with modern glamour.

The festivities kicked off in Hyderabad with a soothing Mangala Snanam, imbuing the days leading up to the main event with a sense of tranquility. Netra’s aspiration was to embody the quintessential red bride—a vision that stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania embraced wholeheartedly. In collaboration with the famed designer Sabyasachi, she donned a richly embroidered red lehenga featuring a high-neck choli and a sweeping skirt that epitomized regal luxury. Her look was elevated by exquisite diamond jewellery, creating an unforgettable bridal statement.

With a star-studded guest list, the wedding drew international attention. Jennifer Lopez made her Indian debut, thrilling attendees with a concert-like performance. Bollywood luminaries such as Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan infused vibrancy into the sangeet and reception, highlighted by Madhuri’s lively rendition of the classic “Dola Re Dola,” met with resounding applause and nostalgia.

Photographed by the distinguished Joseph Radhik, the wedding radiated the enchantment of a Raja Ravi Varma masterpiece. From the exquisite decor to the meticulous lighting, every detail contributed to a lavish celebration that transcended mere event status and unfolded as a global sensation, marking its place in memory for years to come.
