Nora Fatehi has categorically denied any links to the alleged drug-rave parties organized by a recently apprehended trafficker in Mumbai. These reports asserted that several Bollywood figures, alongside Alishah Parkar, the nephew of Dawood Ibrahim, were present at these events. In a robust response, Nora took to Instagram Stories to state that these claims are entirely fabricated and that her name is being misused.
The actress emphasized that she does not partake in social gatherings and dedicates most of her time to her work and travels for professional purposes. Nora mentioned that her free time is often spent resting, traveling to Dubai, or reconnecting with friends, urging the public not to believe unverified reports. She also recalled previous instances when her image was unfairly targeted but made it clear she wouldn’t stay silent this time.
Nora further warned against the exploitation of her name or image in contexts she is not involved in, cautioning that such actions would have serious repercussions. She firmly stated her intention to not let her identity be misused for sensationalist attention.
This controversy arose from statements made by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a trafficker currently held by the Anti-Narcotics Cell's Ghatkopar unit after being deported from Dubai. Shaikh reportedly claimed he had organized rave parties involving personalities from the entertainment and fashion sectors, naming Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor among others, asserting that Dawood Ibrahim's nephew was also in attendance.
Authorities have not excluded the possibility of questioning the mentioned individuals during Shaikh's interrogation, although no formal summons have been issued as of yet. The investigation continues as officials work to validate the claims and probe the alleged drug operation.
