On Wednesday, the President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, met with Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi. They met at the Presidential Palace in Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia. Sayyid Badr was in Tunisia on an official visit.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr brought warm greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman. He told President Saied that the Sultan wishes him good health and happiness. He also said the Sultan hopes that the Tunisian people will enjoy more progress and success.
President Saied thanked Sayyid Badr for the Sultan’s greetings. He asked Sayyid Badr to send his own warm wishes back to His Majesty Sultan Haitham. President Saied also said he hopes the people of Oman will continue to grow and prosper.
Both leaders spoke about how important the friendship is between Oman and Tunisia. They agreed it is good for both countries to work more closely in many areas, such as politics, business, and culture. They want to make sure their work helps people in both nations.
President Saied spoke highly of Oman’s role in helping to keep peace and safety in the region. He praised the way Oman, under Sultan Haitham’s leadership, uses wisdom and talks to solve problems. He said Oman’s peaceful approach is a good example for other countries.
Sayyid Badr thanked President Saied for his kind words. He said Oman is proud of its close, brotherly relationship with Tunisia. He added that Oman wants to continue talking and planning with Tunisia on issues they both care about.
Sayyid Badr also complimented President Saied’s leadership. He said the President has a clear and wise plan for Tunisia’s future. He praised Tunisia’s work to grow its economy and improve people’s lives. He noted Tunisia’s efforts to unite Arab countries and work together.
The meeting showed how much Oman and Tunisia respect each other. Both sides agreed they will keep building their strong ties. They want to work together for peace, growth, and unity in the Arab world.
This visit highlights the shared values of both countries. It shows their desire to deepen cooperation in politics, trade, education, and culture. Both leaders left the meeting with a promise to stay close partners and friends.
