OnePlus Pad Go 2 Set to Transform Budget Tablets in India

Post by : Bianca Haleem

As the launch event for OnePlus approaches, excitement is mounting for the OnePlus Pad Go 2. Set to debut on December 17 alongside the OnePlus 15R and Watch Lite, this new tablet aims to provide a perfect blend of cost-effectiveness and performance for students, young professionals, and casual creators.

Display and Design: Enhanced Visual Experience

The Pad Go 2 features a sizable 12.1-inch display with a crisp 2800 x 1980 resolution, achieving an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio. Designed with a 7:5 aspect ratio, it is ideal for both reading and productivity. Moreover, the tablet supports Dolby Vision and achieves a peak brightness of 900 nits, ensuring rich visuals for gaming, streaming, and creative tasks.

Improved Performance with MediaTek

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, the Pad Go 2 represents a significant upgrade over the previous Helio G99. With 8GB of RAM and running on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, this tablet is optimized for seamless multitasking and long-term use, supported by TUV SUD certification for performance consistency over four years.

Long-lasting Battery Life

The tablet boasts an impressive 10,050mAh battery, providing up to 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music, and a remarkable 60 days of standby. It features 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, with a 45W charger included in the box, while reverse charging enables users to power other devices.

Stylus Support for Creators

Stylus functionality is a major draw for creators, offering 4,096 pressure levels with quick charging—just 10 minutes of charging allows for nearly half a day of use. Enhanced productivity features include AI tools like AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translation, and AI Recorder, and an Open Canvas multitasking system for effective split-screen work.

Connectivity, Variants, and Pricing

The Shadow Black variant with 8GB/256GB offers 5G connectivity, ensuring users stay connected wherever they go. With a price projected to stay below ₹25,000, the Pad Go 2 provides a well-balanced option for budget-conscious consumers in search of a capable tablet. Sales will commence on December 18, following the official launch.
