Muchhal’s Airport Visit After Mandhana Wedding Postponement

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer–director Palaash Muchhal were expected to get married on November 23. Their wedding was one of the most talked-about events in recent weeks. However, the ceremony was suddenly postponed, surprising their fans and followers. Since then, the couple has been in the news because many people want to know what really happened and why the wedding did not take place as planned.

Palaash Muchhal Seen in Public After Postponement

Palaash Muchhal made his first public appearance after the wedding delay when he was seen walking out of an airport. A video of him moving through the airport was recorded by paparazzi and quickly went viral on social media. This was the first time he was seen in public after the wedding drama began, so many people paid close attention to the video.

On November 29, Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal made a very noticeable online move. For the first time since the sudden wedding postponement, both of them updated their Instagram bios at almost the same moment. They added only one symbol — the evil-eye (nazar) emoji. This symbol is often used to protect against bad luck or negative energy. Because both added the same symbol at the same time, people felt it was a coordinated message.

Wedding Postponement Creates Many Questions

When the wedding was cancelled suddenly, both the Muchhal and Mandhana families issued a short statement. They said that the wedding was postponed due to health reasons. However, they did not explain whose health problem it was or what exactly happened. Because the explanation was brief, many people online began to speculate and create their own stories about the possible reasons behind the decision.

The lack of details made many social media users believe that something serious had happened behind the scenes. Soon, discussions and rumours started spreading across platforms like Instagram and X. People shared their guesses, opinions, and theories, many of which had no confirmation. This online chatter made the situation even bigger than it originally was.

Smriti Mandhana Deletes All Wedding-Related Posts

More speculation started when Smriti Mandhana removed every post related to her wedding from Instagram. She deleted the proposal video, the engagement announcement, and all pictures connected to the event. This sudden deletion alarmed fans because it looked like she was distancing herself from the wedding completely. However, on Palaash Muchhal’s Instagram, all the wedding posts were still visible, which created more confusion and discussion online.

The situation grew more complicated when an Instagram user named Mary D’Costa shared what she claimed were screenshots of conversations between herself and Palaash Muchhal from earlier in the year. She suggested that Palaash had been talking to her while avoiding questions about his relationship status. These screenshots spread quickly and added fuel to the rumours, even though none of the screenshots were officially verified.

After the screenshots went viral, people online started making even more assumptions about the true reason behind the postponed wedding. Many believed that something had gone wrong between the couple. However, these rumours had no confirmation from either family or any official source. The situation turned into a social media storm, and many people began forming opinions without knowing the full truth.

Amid all the rumours, only a few things are confirmed. Based on information from family sources and event organisers, the wedding was postponed because of a real medical emergency. Reports say that on the morning of November 23, Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, became seriously unwell and had to be taken to the hospital. Because of this unexpected health emergency, the families felt it was best to delay the wedding until he recovered.

Health Concerns Affect Both Families

The sudden illness created emotional stress for both families. Organisers said the decision to delay the wedding was taken together by everyone involved. They did not want to continue with the celebrations while dealing with a medical crisis. This explanation from the families was the only confirmed reason, but social media users continued to believe that something else was happening behind the scenes.

After the wedding postponement, Palaash Muchhal also experienced a health scare in Sangli. Reports say he was emotionally stressed because of the situation and was later hospitalised for a short time. His mother said that he was deeply affected by everything happening, and even he supported the decision to postpone the wedding until everyone was healthy again.

Even though social media is full of rumours and discussions, Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal have not released any official statement about the situation. They have not responded to the rumours, screenshots, or speculation. Their only visible action has been updating their Instagram bios with the evil-eye emoji. This has left people wondering what the couple is trying to communicate.

At the moment, the only proven information is that the wedding was postponed due to a genuine health emergency in the family. Everything else circulating online remains unconfirmed or based on speculation. Both Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal have chosen to stay silent, and until they speak, the real story behind the postponed wedding may remain unclear. For now, fans continue to wait for an official update from the couple.
