Pine Labs, the fintech powerhouse from Noida, has garnered a robust response in its initial public offering (IPO), achieving a 52% subscription by the second day of its share sale on Monday, November 10. As per NSE data available by late afternoon, bids for 5.08 crore shares have been placed out of a total of 9.78 crore shares offered.
The retail segment has taken the front seat with an 86% subscription, while qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed 60% of their quota. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) exhibited moderate interest at 12% subscription.
This ₹3,899.91 crore IPO is open until November 11, with shares priced between ₹210 and ₹221, and a lot size set at 67 shares. The offering combines a fresh issuance of ₹2,080 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹1,819.91 crore from current shareholders.
Allocation of Proceeds
Pine Labs aims to utilize the proceeds from the IPO in a strategic manner:
Debt repayment: ₹532 crore
Investments in subsidiaries: ₹60 crore
Technology, cloud infrastructure, and DCP procurement: ₹760 crore
Further tech & cloud investments: ₹213.37 crore
Remaining funds: General corporate purposes and inorganic acquisitions
The stock is expected to list on exchanges on November 14.
