Pope Leo, joined by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and various regional church heads, will participate in a special celebration honoring this milestone.
Notably, Pope Leo is the first American to assume the papacy, and his rising prominence is underscored by his impactful commentary on international conflicts since his election in May.

Following his engagement in Turkey, Pope Leo is set to journey to Lebanon on Sunday, a nation hosting the largest Christian community in the Middle East and grappling with severe challenges, including the repercussions of the Israel-Hezbollah conflict and an ongoing economic crisis.
